Scope

The primary goal of the workshop is to bring together researchers in the fields of Semantic and Social Web in order to share knowledge, approaches, models, issues, solutions, applications. Debates are expected on directions and possibilities of future research in the domain. We also expect to create a forum for further collaboration on this field of study.

Author guidelines

Submitted papers should describe substantial and unpublished work. English is the official language for both papers and talks. All accepted papers shall be published by IEEE Conference Proceedings.

All papers will be reviewed using a blind referring process by at least two members of the program committee. Please remove any author information from the paper submitted for review.

Papers should be submitted through the PaperCept Conference Management System and must be formatted in accordance with the submission policy.

Authors are advised to read PaperCept's Getting Started Manual for Authors and the ICSCS 2013 PDF Compliance Guidelines carefully. Only PDF files are accepted for submission.

EMERGENT BEHAVIORS FROM SMART TERRITORIES
Carlo GIOVANNELLA (University of Tor Vergata, Italy)

Biography:
Carlo Giovannella has graduated in physics and is an expert in complex systems. He is currently the R&D Director of the Creative Industries Area of the Consorzio Roma Ricerche and chair of the ISIM_garage (Interfaces and Multimodal Interactive Systems) a R&D lab at the Department of Educational Science & Technology of the University of Tor Vergata. He is also a senior member of IEEE. At present his research activity is focused on the design for the experience, natural computer-mediated communication, augmented places and pervasive computing, collaborative learning and working, ecological monitoring of experience styles.
